As the former Creative Director of Microsoft Games Europe, founder and CEO of both Bullfrog Productions, Lionhead Studios and now 22cans, Peter has led various sized businesses in the industry and designed hugely successful products (both critically and commercially) such as Populous, Theme Park, Syndicate, Theme Hospital, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and the Fable franchise. His work has granted him multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards from various sources such as BAFTA, GDC Awards and the Academy for the Interactive Arts and Sciences. Despite his legacy, Peter considers himself to only be getting started. His most recent endeavour 22cans stepped into the casual gamer space with "Curiosity - What’s inside the cube” which won an Online Innovation award at the Develop Awards, then came Godus, a return to the God Game genre which Peter is widely regarded to have created early in his career. Now with his latest release ‘The Trail’ he continues to bring unique experiences to the world and in December 2016, Apple honoured The Trail as one of the top 10 games of the year.

EMAIL IAN VIEW LECTURE Ian Livingstone CBE is one of the founding fathers of the UK games industry. He co-founded iconic games company Games Workshop in 1975 with Steve Jackson, launching Dungeons & Dragons in Europe, and Warhammer. He co-authored The Warlock of Firetop Mountain with Steve Jackson in 1982, the first title in the Fighting Fantasy gamebook series which has sold 20 million copies worldwide. He has written 16 titles in the series, including international bestseller Deathtrap Dungeon. In 1995 he co-led the merger that created Eidos PLC where he served as Executive Chairman until 2002, and later as Creative Director. At Eidos he launched global video games franchises including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. From 2012-2017, he served as Chairman of Playdemic, developers of hit mobile game Golf Clash. He is currently a Non-executive Director of Sumo Group PLC.

Prior to Amazon, Steve headed marketing for NC SOFT studio ArenaNet, makers of the hit MMO Guild Wars 2. In addition to roles at Sega-Sammy, Take-Two and Ayzenberg Group, Steve worked on the team at Microsoft that launched the original Xbox.
